This question wants you to get used to looking up z-scores from a table of normal values. If you don't have one in-front of you, you can use the z-score to percentile calculator for each z-score. Each of the 8 questions wants just the one-sided area (choose 1-sided) and use the 100-percent if it asks above:

  1. above .10 = 54%
  2. below .10 = 46%
  3. above .20 =58%
  4. below .20 =42%
  5. above 1.10 =86%
  6. below 1.10 = ~14%
  7. above -.10 = 54%
  8. below -.10 = 46%

Note: You would not be expected to calculate these values by hand since it requires integral calculus. The intense computations involved are the reason the values are tabled and put in the back of stats books.
