Empirical Rule
1
Answer:
No answer provided yet.The empirical rule applies to data that follow roughly a normal or mound shaped distribution. The
rule states that approximately 68,95 and 99.7% of all values fall within 1,2 and 3 standard deviations of the mean. To apply that rule here we see that 68% of values will fall within and 332 and 520. We're asked what percent would like between 332 and the mean of 426, so we just cut 68% in half to arrive at 34% of values will fall between 332 and 426.
