No answer provided yet. For binomial probability questions, the easiest thing to do is use Excel since the computations are cumbersome.
We'd use the excel formula = BINOMDIST(5,10,.10,FALSE) = .00149, or the probability of exactly 5 defective is .149%. The False in the formula means to not accumulate values.
For five ore or more we need the binomial cumulative density function, which is the same formula except we change the parameter to TRUE (which means to accumulate the values). The formula is now =BINOMDIST(5,10,.1,TRUE) = .99985, so the probability of more than 5 is 1-.99985 = .000147 or about an extremely remote number of .015%
